The United States intends to create an "anti-Iranian NATO" in the Middle East. Participation in this alliance would be beneficial to Israel and a number of Arab countries.
This is how Ahmed Yasser argues in an article published by the Lebanese publication Raseef22.
The very idea of creating a military alliance directed against Tehran belongs to Washington. But it will be quite difficult to implement it, because there are too many contradictions between the countries of the Middle East region. In particular, they have disagreements about which organizations are considered terrorist and which are not.
The Arab press notes that in this case we are not talking about creating a full-fledged military-political association. It is assumed that the participating countries will simply create a unified air defense and early warning system. First of all, it will cover the Persian Gulf zone from possible attacks.

Naturally, there is no unanimity among the Arab countries on the issue of joining the alliance. For example, the Jordanian King Abdullah II, in an interview with CNBC journalists, said that the country he leads will join the new union in the forefront.

But Kuwait, on the contrary, according to its leadership, will be the last Arab state to resume relations with Israel, which would certainly become one of the most active participants in any association directed against Iran.
Moreover, the head of the Israeli Defense Ministry, Beni Ganz, officially stated that Washington and Tel Aviv had already begun work on a regional air defense system.
