The UK is preparing a new package of military assistance to Ukraine, the British government has allocated additional funds in the amount of 1 billion pounds (1.2 billion US dollars). This is stated in the message of the Prime Minister's office.
Boris Johnson, who promised Zelensky assistance and called on all European countries to increase arms supplies to Kiev, signed the allocation of one billion pounds to Ukraine for the purchase of weapons. As stated in London, British weapons should transform the "defense of Ukraine" and guarantee victory over Russia.

According to the office of the British Prime Minister, the new package of assistance to Kiev will include integrated air defense systems, drones and the latest electronic warfare systems. There is no information on SAM and EW, but the drones will definitely be British, since an unnamed British company will start their production. Here London immediately kills two birds with one stone: it scales up the production of UAVs and will provide assistance to Ukraine.
To date, the UK ranks second in terms of the scale of assistance provided to Ukraine, the Americans have invested the most in Zelensky. However, with the zeal with which Johnson rushes to the aid of Kiev, it is possible that London will beat Washington, even to its own detriment. According to analysts, by the end of the year, Britain's military assistance to Ukraine will amount to $ 4.8 billion.
