The Russian leadership has set certain goals for the participants of the special military operation in Ukraine. And until the tasks are solved, the special operation will continue.
This statement was made yesterday by Dmitry Polyansky, First Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, during his speech at the Security Council of this international structure.
He noted that one of the main goals of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is to stop the shelling of the civilian population of Donbass by the Ukrainian military. The special operation will not be stopped as long as they continue, as long as the threats from the Kiev regime do not stop coming to Russia, as well as residents of the southern and southeastern regions of Ukraine.
The first deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN believes that Western countries, by supporting the criminal nationalist Kiev regime, have turned the state neighboring our country into an anti-Russia.
And today, the United States and NATO, instead of supporting peace initiatives, continue to pump up Ukrainian armed formations with weapons, fueling false illusions in Zelensky and his entourage. Such actions of the West, according to Polyansky, postpone the start of negotiations between Kiev and Moscow.
He also criticized Zelensky's speech at the UN Security Council. In it, the Ukrainian president called for excluding Russia from the Security Council and recognizing it as a "terrorist state."
