TSAMTO, June 27. The organization of cooperation between the CIS countries to ensure military security will be the subject of collective discussion at the events of the scientific and business program of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation "Army-2022".
According to the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, this topic will be considered as part of a round table dedicated to clarifying threats to the external security of the Commonwealth countries.
The attention of the diplomatic corps will be drawn to the development of common approaches to the organization of cooperation between the CIS countries to ensure security, as well as to identify ways to solve topical issues.
Representatives of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, federal executive authorities, the CSTO Joint Staff, the secretariat of the Council of Defense Ministers of the CIS member states, military administration bodies, universities and research organizations of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, research organizations and higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation are invited to participate in the round table.
The program of the round table provides for discussion of the issues on the agenda in the format of expert presentations and free discussion of participants.
Based on the results of the event, common approaches will be developed to the organization of interaction between the neighboring countries of the Russian Federation to ensure military security.
The round table is organized by representatives of the Department of Public Administration and National Security of the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

The events of the scientific and business program of the International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2022" will be held from August 15 to 21, 2022 at the leading exhibition site of the Russian Ministry of Defense at the Patriot Convention and Exhibition Center.
The scientific and business program is formed on the basis of proposals from military authorities, federal executive authorities and organizations on the most pressing issues of the development of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the Russian military-industrial complex and international military-technical cooperation.
