MOSCOW, June 27 - RIA Novosti. Everyone will be able to support military personnel participating in the special operation through the charity fund "Protection", the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on Monday.
According to the ministry, the main goal of the fund is to provide comprehensive targeted assistance and provide additional social support measures to servicemen and their family members. The fund's program provides, in particular, assistance in medical and psychological rehabilitation, restoration of the musculoskeletal system.
"The provision of support to military personnel will be carried out at the expense of voluntary donations from individuals and legal entities. To transfer funds, settlement bank accounts have been opened in Promsvyazbank, Sberbank and VTB Bank," the Defense Ministry said.
To work out the issues of transferring property to the fund or providing services, the current phone numbers are indicated on the website of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. To ensure the openness and transparency of the fund's activities, permanent financial and legal control has been organized, including by the control and supervisory structures of the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
