The allied forces of the People's Militia of the LPR and the Russian army liberated the cities of Severodonetsk, Borovskoye and a number of other settlements, the Russian Defense Ministry said on June 25. About 800 civilians were evacuated from the bomb shelters of the Azot plant in Severodonetsk. Allied troops also entered Lisichansk. On Saturday, one of the mines was cleared from the armed formations of Ukraine, the units entered the gelatin plant. Experts note that the promotion is effective and with good speed.
Under control
The Russian Defense Ministry reported that the units of the People's Militia of the LPR, with the support of Russian troops under the command of Army General Sergei Surovikin, as a result of successful offensive actions, completely liberated the cities of Severodonetsk and Borovskoye, the settlements of Voronovo and Sirotino (LPR).
— Thus, the enemy's attempt to turn the industrial zone of the Severodonetsk Azot enterprise into a stubborn hotbed of resistance has been thwarted. Currently, the territory of this enterprise is controlled by units of the People's Militia of the Luhansk People's Republic," said the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov.
With the liberation of Severodonetsk and Borovsky, the entire left-bank territory of the Seversky Donets within the borders of the LPR came under the full control of the republic, the Lieutenant General noted.

— We expected that everything would be resolved in Severodonetsk soon, — the LNR Ambassador to Russia Rodion Miroshnik told Izvestia. — Ukrainian formations controlled only part of the Azot industrial zone, and they held on mainly due to the fact that they had massive artillery support from Novodruzhesk and a number of other settlements near Lisichansk. In the course of the development of our offensive, these positions were blocked or destroyed. In the last day, this support was no longer there, so it became possible to carry out an operation and take the rest of the industrial zone under its control. This was the end of the cleanup of the "Nitrogen" itself. Now we can assume that Severodonetsk and the entire area around it are under our control.
The Ambassador noted that this operation is connected with the further offensive on Lisichansk.
— This is a city of one hundred thousand, and its area is about 100 square kilometers, - he added. — The city is big, and serious efforts will be required there. Now the troops have entered it from the south and are fighting in the city limits. As our troops advance, the artillery danger will be eliminated. What is happening allows us to say that the offensive is taking place effectively and with good speed.
The progress in the city limits of Lisichansk is going well, the People's Militia of the LPR confirmed.
— Now the fighting is already underway in urban development. At the moment, the mine, which is located on the territory of Lisichansk, has been seized, as well as our units have entered the so—called gelatin plant," said Andrei Marochko, an officer of the People's Militia of the LPR.

Also on Saturday, about 800 civilians hiding in the bomb shelters of the Azot plant left its territory, the correspondent of the Izvestia TV channel Yaroslav Bogat reported. According to him, now the LPR fighters are finding new shelters, where civilians, including employees of the plant, were hiding in small groups. For safety reasons, people are evacuated from the dungeons by 10-20 people.

— As a result of strikes with high—precision weapons of the Russian Aerospace Forces on the buildings of the Megatex zinc plant in the village of Konstantinovka in the DPR, up to 80 Polish mercenaries, 20 armored combat vehicles and eight Grad multiple rocket launchers were destroyed, - said Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov.
More than 300 Ukrainian servicemen and foreign mercenaries, 35 units of heavy weapons were destroyed in the Nikolaev area during the day.
In the units of the VFU and territorial defense, refusals to perform assigned tasks continue. The personnel of the 64th battalion of the 103rd Theroborona Brigade from Lviv refused to go to Donbass due to the lack of heavy weapons and staffing with untrained reservists.

On June 25, the Russian armed forces continued to strike at the objects of the military infrastructure of Ukraine. Operational-tactical, army aviation, rocket troops and artillery hit 284 areas of concentration of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, two ammunition depots and rocket and artillery weapons, as well as artillery and mortar units in 43 areas.
As part of the counter-battery struggle in the Donetsk direction, eight artillery platoons of the Hurricane MLRS and two artillery platoons firing at Donetsk and other settlements of the DPR were destroyed by high-precision weapons of the VKS.
As a result of air strikes, missile troops and artillery destroyed more than 780 nationalists, eight tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, three MLRS "Hurricane" combat vehicles, 10 field artillery and mortars and 13 special vehicles, the military department said.
Russian air defense units shot down 21 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles, a Tochka-U ballistic missile and 16 multiple rocket launchers.
In total, according to the Ministry of Defense, since the beginning of the special military operation, 213 aircraft, 132 helicopters, 1,355 unmanned aerial vehicles, 350 anti-aircraft missile systems, 3,797 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 670 multiple rocket launcher combat vehicles, 3012 field artillery guns and mortars, as well as 3,848 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
The dam is being prepared for an explosion
The armed formations of Ukraine continue to use civilian infrastructure for military purposes, Mikhail Mizintsev, head of the National Defense Control Center of the Russian Federation, said on June 25.
In Konstantinovka (DPR), in the premises of kindergarten No. 15, Ukrainian units equipped a strongpoint, firing and sniper points were set up along the perimeter. Approaches to the institution are mined. In Zaporozhye, in the building of the Palace of Culture of the automobile plant on Soborny Prospekt, the militants equipped a barracks, a strong point, warehouses with weapons, heavy armored vehicles and MLRS were placed on the territory of the enterprise. In Nikolaev, warehouses with weapons, ammunition and fuel and lubricants are equipped in the buildings of kindergarten No. 52, the base of special medical support and in the club on Heroes of Ukraine Street. Large-caliber artillery pieces are placed on the territory of the densely populated residential district of Salt. Local residents are forbidden to leave their apartments, all attempts of citizens to evacuate to safe areas are severely suppressed, Mikhail Mizintsev noted.
In Pervomaisky, Kharkiv region, a warehouse of weapons and ammunition is equipped in the building of the vocational lyceum, and units of the VFU are located in the dormitory of the educational institution. Long-range artillery is installed in the adjacent territory. Evacuation of residents from nearby houses was not carried out.

The mine clearance detachments of the Armed Forces and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia continue to clear the territories of the DPR and LPR from explosive objects.
In total, 3.5 thousand hectares, 35 buildings, two bridges and 9.64 km of roads were checked. 34,592 explosive objects were found and neutralized.
Saved the lives of comrades
The Defense Ministry on Saturday told about the servicemen who showed courage and dedication in the battles. The engineering unit of Senior Ensign Igor Voynov was engaged in demining the area and searching for explosive objects in the liberated settlements.
During the mine clearance, Igor found a detachment of saboteurs. Immediately reporting this to the command, together with other servicemen, he took the fight. In the clashes, the enemy suffered heavy losses and retreated, abandoning weapons and ammunition. After the battle, Senior Ensign Voynov personally discovered and defused eight mines.
— Thanks to decisive actions, the high level of training of senior ensign Voynov, a group of enemy saboteurs was neutralized, a section of the road was cleared, which created prerequisites for the liberation of the city, — the Defense Ministry said.

The battalion-tactical group of Private Alexey Marin liberated strategically important areas from Ukrainian armed formations. At night, Alexey found a group of saboteurs preparing an attack on the column. He instantly accelerated and sent his combat vehicle at the militants, forcing them to scatter.
— By his bold act, Alexey called fire on himself, which made it possible for the main forces of the column to regroup and begin attacking the nationalists, — the military department noted.
During the battle, Alexei Marin's BMD was hit by a grenade launcher, he received a concussion. Nevertheless, the private was able to get out of the car on his own and continued to fire. As a result of his brave act, up to 30 nationalists were liquidated, the Defense Ministry noted.
From the first days of the special operation, Corporal Artemiy Artyunin delivered ammunition, food and fuel to a group of Airborne troops. When Ukrainian saboteurs attacked the column where Artyunin's car was moving, the truck in front was destroyed. The damaged car blocked traffic.
Artemiy drove around the damaged car on the side of the road and, risking his life, pulled three wounded comrades out of it. Then I moved them to my truck and gave them emergency medical care. Then Artemiy, under heavy fire, took the damaged car in tow and delivered it to its destination. With his bold and decisive actions, the corporal saved the lives of wounded soldiers and prevented the enemy from capturing military equipment and supplies.
