MOSCOW, June 23/ Sputnik Radio. Two CNN reporters arrived in Odessa accompanied by Azov militants* to participate in the filming of staged terrorist attacks, said the head of the National Defense Control Center of the Russian Federation, Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev.
"Two CNN news channel reporters arrived in Odessa, accompanied by 10 servicemen of the nationalist Azov battalion*. It is planned to videotape prepared terrorist acts at civilian facilities for the subsequent accusation of Russia in the use of prohibited methods of warfare,"– quotes Mizintseva RIA Novosti.
The Colonel-General stressed that this and other similar provocations by the Ukrainian authorities about the "excesses of the Russians" are planned to be spread through Western media and on various Internet resources.
"Once again, we emphasize that during the implementation of the tasks of a special military operation, the Russian Armed Forces provide comprehensive assistance and support to civilians, treat the civilian population extremely humanely and do not strike at civilian infrastructure," Mikhail Mizintsev said.
Earlier, Sputnik radio reported that the Russian Defense Ministry told where the Kiev security forces could be preparing another provocation.
* Criminal cases have been opened against representatives of the formation in the Russian Federation.
