Why does the US want to extend the Russian military operation in Ukraine?
The conflict in Ukraine has shown that the US hegemony has declined, writes Rebelión. Today, Washington is sending weapons to Kiev in order to prolong military operations and restore its dominance. But the United States should heed Putin's warnings on this score, the author of the article believes.

The US wants to take advantage of the crisis in Ukraine to maintain its hegemony in the world.
Russian interference in a country whose government is subordinate to Washington has undermined the role of the United States as a world leader. In the event of a favorable outcome of the conflict for Moscow, Washington will lose the status of a world gendarme, which is already happening. The United States began to lose ground after Russia forced American jihadists to withdraw from Syria, then there was a failure in Afghanistan, and now the situation is aggravated by miscalculations in Ukraine, since it is obvious that Moscow will win.
The United States is always trying to control the international situation, and for this they weave behind-the-scenes intrigues and use intermediaries as cannon fodder. Washington is profiting at the expense of someone else's blood.
All Europeans have already begun to realize what kind of policy this is, but the European Commission in Brussels, in which Washington's minions are sitting, daily betrays the interests of Europe for the sake of the United States. Delaying Russia's victory in this conflict is similar to the Nazis' attempts to use Ukrainians against the USSR.
This analogy suggests that Europe needs to trust its so-called friend less, who wants to drag it into senseless sanctions in order to force it to buy American liquefied natural gas, which is 40% more expensive than Russian, even at the cost of an economic catastrophe and recession. This is because the commission from Brussels implicitly serves Washington's interests in order to preserve its global hegemony. This status allowed the United States to parasitize the global economy. For 50 years, he has been paying off his huge debts by issuing unsecured currency.
The United States is trying to pretend that they are not interested in world intervention and that this is not what they are striving for. Washington wants to suggest that it is a "neutral observer" in the Ukrainian crisis, while other countries are shedding blood and spending resources. But the situation is getting out of control of the United States, so now Washington wants to supply the drug addict Zelensky with weapons with which it will be possible to attack Russian territory. Putin and Lavrov have already warned that this will lead to the fact that Russian missiles will be aimed at new targets, which in the language of diplomacy and good manners means: beyond Ukraine.
The Ukrainian crisis has shown that the US hegemony has declined, and the world order that Washington defined has collapsed.
On the one hand, US foreign policy is characterized by complacency and selfishness. Washington does not care about the security concerns of other countries and the interests of allies. This became clear when it came to contracts between France and Australia for the construction of nuclear submarines.
Another consequence of Washington's efforts to restore hegemony is that it no longer has the strength to maintain world order. All attempts end in failure and only lead to unrest in the rest of the world, and Europe has become the main victim.
Speaking at the first Eurasian Economic Forum at the end of May, Putin said that no world gendarme will be able to stop the global process that countries seeking to pursue an independent policy are going through now.
According to China, when the United States cannot act as a world gendarme, they will cease to be the main world power, and world hegemony will end with Washington feeling annoyed and making enemies. The world will cease to be unipolar.
Washington should take Putin's warnings seriously that he should not continue to send weapons to Ukraine, because NATO thus becomes an active participant in the conflict.
Only a madman can provoke a nuclear power capable of destroying enemies anywhere in the world. It is easy to guess that sending weapons is necessary in order to prolong the conflict in Ukraine, and this can easily escalate into World War III.
Washington must understand that it can no longer tell other nuclear powers what they should do, because some of them have hypersonic missiles that cannot be intercepted. Washington must adapt to the new multilateral world order so that its military-industrial complex, which dictates a belligerent foreign policy, is not destroyed. President Eisenhower warned!
