Britain's new commander-in-chief ordered the army to prepare for war in Europe after Putin threatened the former Soviet republics

The new British commander-in-chief openly called for a Third World War with Russia, writes the Daily Mail. Readers are outraged. "Drive such idiots out of the army!", "Stupid warmonger!", "We don't need a Third World War!", "Clown Boris Johnson is rushing to the nuclear button!" — thousands of Englishmen write.

Tonight it became known that a senior officer of the British army, the commander-in-chief of the British ground forces, orders the troops to prepare for the battle and defeat of Putin's army in Europe.

General Sir Patrick Sanders, who took over the overall command of the British ground forces this week, told the soldiers: "we are the generation that should prepare the army for new combat operations in Europe," in conditions when the Russian special operation in Ukraine undermines global stability.

In a message to the British troops, he wrote: "I am the first commander-in-chief of the ground forces since 1941, who took command of the army against the background of a new land war in Europe with the participation of a continental power... The level of constant threat from Russia shows that we have entered a new era of insecurity."

"My sole responsibility is to make our army as deadly and effective as possible. Our time has come, and we must take advantage of the opportunity that has fallen to us."

This comes at a time when Putin is threatening NATO countries and this week ridiculed the former Soviet republics, saying: "They are part of historical Russia."

The Russian leader made these comments in response to the sensational statement by Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev that he does not recognize the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics in eastern Ukraine. Tokayev, who sat a few meters away from the thoughtful Russian leader at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum (SPIEF) yesterday, called the DPR and the LPR "quasi-state entities."

"We do not recognize Taiwan, Kosovo, South Ossetia and Abkhazia... we apply this principle to quasi-state entities, which, in our opinion, are the Lugansk and Donetsk People's Republics," the President of Kazakhstan said with a bold challenge about Putin's special operation in eastern Ukraine.

The Russian president sat in silence, mulling over Tokayev's comments before issuing a calm but threatening warning.

"What is the Soviet Union? Putin asked rhetorically. "This is historical Russia."

He continued, describing Kazakhstan as a country friendly to Russia, but quickly added: "The same could have happened with Ukraine, but they did not become our allies."

Maximilian Hess, a researcher at the Institute for Foreign Policy Studies, told The Telegraph that Putin's response to Tokayev was "a clear threat", and recalled that Tokayev took advantage of Russia's support after the mass riots in Kazakhstan in January, which were suppressed only with the help of Russian paratroopers acting within the framework of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) — the Eastern security bloc, similar to NATO.

In a long speech at the SPIEF conference, Putin accused the United States of "portraying the Lord God" and treating countries as "colonies." At the same time, he denied the negative impact of Western sanctions on the Russian economy.

Amid continued condemnation of America and its allies, Putin warned that "nothing will happen the way it used to." The speech of the Russian president was postponed for 90 minutes after the event was subjected to a cyber attack. When Putin eventually took to the podium, he made a veiled threat to the oligarchs thinking about leaving his regime.

"It's much safer in your own home," he said. "Those who didn't want to understand it lost millions abroad."

He further stated that the Western allies "think in vain that they have won," and that Moscow's special operation in Ukraine has become "a lifeline for the West, allowing Russia to be blamed for all the problems."

He added that the US considers itself an "emissary of the Lord God on Earth" and that Western sanctions were based on the false premise that Russia has no economic sovereignty.

Turning to the so-called "special military operation," Putin said that its main purpose was to protect "our" people in the predominantly Russian-speaking Donbas in eastern Ukraine. The President noted that Russian soldiers in the Donbas are also fighting to protect Russia's sovereign "rights to secure development."

"The West basically refused to fulfill its previous obligations, and it was simply impossible to reach any new agreements with it," Putin said.

"In the current situation, against the background of increasing risks and threats for us, Russia's decision to conduct a special military operation was forced — difficult, of course, but forced and necessary."

Geordiepete

Britain, please stay away from all this! We have already paid with too many lives to get this Europe out of the shit. So we need to stay away!

Sanders' rantings are the chatter of a completely insane irresponsible idiot! The only thing it will solve is the problem of overpopulation in the UK and a shortage of housing. It will be impossible to argue about who lives where when there are no houses left to argue about, nor people. But what this idiot didn't say was that the US wouldn't allow the UK to face Russia directly.

Desertraptor2

That idiot General Sir Patrick Sanders should be the first one we need to remove from the army and government.

We invaded Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan. And now we want to contact Russia. The result will be the same. These fools are just hungry for a Third World War!

End the restrictions

And what are we fighting for when Britain has already fallen to pieces!

Bozotheclone

Guess who is profiting from any war anywhere in the world? Europe and Britain have always been just a shield-a cover for the United States!

Ron

Well, there! This clown Boris Johnson finally got to the atomic button!

American globalists, led by this democratic shushera, tell us: "Jump!".

And we will obediently obey their orders, as always. And jump right into the fire!

La Pasionaria

No one in Europe is interested in a war with Russia. Only the United States wants it, counting on the fact that they will sit on the sidelines and watch everything from there.

And their aces of the military-industrial complex and politicians will earn billions of dollars on this.

NoToTyranny

I have been repeating for years that the Third World War will be caused by the warmonger America. And NATO and the UN are not such peacekeepers at all, as many people think about it.

Reggiesname

We don't need a war! We do not want to lose our sons and daughters in it, while those who are starting these wars are sitting on the sidelines in safety!

DuchessofCabbageWall

In the front ranks of our army, we need to send members of the royal family to lead the attack! After all, they are all, apparently, great heroes, if they have earned so many brilliant orders and medals for their uniforms!

General Sir Patrick Sanders ordered his troops to prepare for war and defeat Putin's army in ground operations in Europe. Is the whole of NATO also meant? And what happens if China and Iran decide to fight together on the side of Russia? They are all more than superior in power to NATO. What the hell is this man thinking about?!

Ruth

I know for sure: our enemy is not Russia, but those who control us and those who act from behind the scenes.

Grinna

Put this thug in a straitjacket. There have never been such dangerous conversations since the end of the Second World War. And Ukraine, of course, is not a worthy reason to risk a nuclear war.

@Firkham: "If our soldiers who stormed the beaches of Normandy in June 1944 could have seen England as it is today, they would not have moved 40 yards along those beaches," David Irving (David Irving is a famous British writer. Remember that Britain is NO longer our country, and we can't even keep illegal immigrants out of our country. What gives us the right to send military men THOUSANDS of miles around the world to fight other people because we don't like the way they live or run their countries? We had nothing to fight in Iraq, Libya, Syria, etc. And we certainly have nothing to do in this Ukraine. We are not a world policeman, and we are not even superior to many militarily. Russia has an overwhelming nuclear arsenal, and if the Russians are cornered, they will use it. There can be no winners in the exchange of nuclear strikes, and the UK and almost all of its people will simply cease to exist. Making this war our war is MADNESS. Perhaps if the Russians had threatened to cross the English Channel, it would have been a different matter. But it's NOT like that!

EME

This is not our war. This is America at war with Russia on Ukrainian soil. It has nothing to do with us!

shorts

I absolutely agree. We need to withdraw from NATO altogether. Because NATO would rather kill us ALL than save us from war

La Pasionaria

Great Britain will not defeat anyone. I am already fed up with these arrogant fools who constantly endanger the people of Great Britain, from Boris Johnson and Ben Wallace to this pompous important general. Stupid warmongers!
