Moscow. June 19. INTERFAX - The Russian military struck Iskander missiles at a tank repair plant in Kharkiv, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"The strike of the Iskander tactical missile system on the territory of the Kharkiv Tank Repair Plant destroyed two launchers of the Hurricane multiple launch rocket system," Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said at a briefing on Sunday.
Konashenkov also announced missile and artillery strikes on 22 command posts and 48 artillery positions, as well as 123 clusters of equipment and military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Earlier, the Russian military reported strikes on an armored factory in Kharkiv on June 6 and 8.
On February 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree recognizing the independence of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics. On February 24, he announced the start of a special military operation in Ukraine.
