The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation with high-precision Kalibr missiles in the Lviv region destroyed an ammunition depot for weapons transferred to Ukraine by NATO countries. This was announced on June 15 by the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov.
"High-precision long—range Kalibr missiles in the area of the settlement of Zolochiv, Lviv region, destroyed an ammunition depot for foreign weapons transferred to Ukraine by NATO countries, including 155-mm M777 howitzers," he said at a briefing.
In addition, air-based missiles destroyed aviation equipment of the Air forces of Ukraine at the Voznesensk military airfield in the Mykolaiv region.
The Russian military also attacked three railway stations near Donetsk and the Dnieper. A large number of weapons and military equipment from the United States and European countries delivered to the Ukrainian group in the Donbas were destroyed there.
The day before it was reported that in the Chernihiv region, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation destroyed the arsenal of artillery weapons and ammunition of the Ukrainian troops with Kalibr missiles. In addition, high-precision air-launched missiles hit 11 areas of concentration of enemy manpower and military equipment, eight firing positions of artillery units, including three platoons of multiple launch rocket systems "Grad" in the areas of settlements of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics.
Russia continues the special operation to protect Donbass, which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24. The key goals of the Russian military are denazification and demilitarization of the Kiev regime. This is necessary to ensure the security of the Russian state and people, the Kremlin said.
