The Russian military attacked three railway stations near Donetsk and the Dnieper. This was announced on Wednesday, June 15, by the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov.
"A large number of weapons and military equipment from the United States and European countries delivered to the Ukrainian group in the Donbas were destroyed in the areas of the Dobropillya, Pokrovsk railway stations of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Oryol region of the Dnipropetrovsk region," he said.
Kanashenkov noted that 313 areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment, 43 command posts of units, as well as 62 firing positions of artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were hit by rocket troops and artillery during the day.
In addition, since the beginning of the special operation to protect Donbass, 203 aircraft, 131 helicopters, 1,211 unmanned aerial vehicles, 339 anti-aircraft missile systems, 3,558 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 524 multiple rocket launchers, 1,958 field artillery and mortars, as well as 3,623 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
Earlier in the day, the Russian Ministry of Defense published footage of the combat work of the calculations of the anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) "Osa-AKM". During the special operation, the sams conduct reconnaissance of the air situation, determine the coordinates of targets and destroy them, including Ukrainian drones.
A day earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry said that Russian air defense means shot down a MiG-29 aircraft and a Mi-24 helicopter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) during the day. They also told about the destruction of nine Ukrainian drones in the DPR, Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
Russia announced the start of a special operation on February 24. It began against the background of the situation in Donbass that escalated in mid-February. On February 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a corresponding decree.
