By the end of the year, the United States may run out of its own stocks of "Stingers" and "Javelins", which Washington actively supplies to Kiev. And the American defense industry is not able to force their production.
The authors of an article published by Bloomberg argue on this topic.
The American media cites an imperfect logistics system as the main reason for this situation. Bloomberg believes it is wrong that the supply of components for the production of weapons is entrusted to a limited number of suppliers, especially since some of them turned out to be unreliable.
And due to the growth of supplies of American weapons to Ukraine, a significant proportion of which are Javelin ATGMS and Stinger MANPADS, their stocks are rapidly drying up.

The agency suggests that the US authorities adopt a law on budget financing of military supplies, as well as enable the Pentagon to conclude contracts with defense companies for long periods so that they invest the funds received in expanding production capacities. In other words, US journalists are demanding that the government allocate additional funds for military needs.
It seems that they are diligently lobbying the interests of American defense companies, for which the armed conflict in Ukraine is a solid source of profit. Since the beginning of the military special operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, the volume of orders for them has increased rapidly, which has become a real "jackpot" for the defense industry of the United States.
