In the United States, after a series of publications that Ukraine has serious problems with the APU's ability to effectively exploit NATO military equipment arriving from abroad, they took care of expanding training programs for Ukrainian servicemen. So, the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States, Mark Milli, said that the Pentagon will develop a new plan to train Ukrainian personnel to handle MLRS, the delivery of which is planned by the US military department.
The plan provides for the training of several platoons of Ukrainian rocket scientists "according to an accelerated program." We are talking about teaching the basics of the operation of the HIMARS MLRS, which the United States intends to deliver to Ukraine as another package of military assistance.

At the same time, the American military commander did not specify what time is regulated for the training of Ukrainian servicemen for the operation of Haimars. In the USA itself, there are several training programs in this direction. And the minimum time is 6 months, and for sufficiently experienced military personnel. In Ukraine, they want the program not to last longer than 2 weeks. If we are really talking about 2-week training, then in the end it may well turn out to be a fiction, in which the real operators of HIMARS will be the NATO military, "urgently signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine."
