Taiwan's attempts to create problems for Moscow are doomed to failure. By acting in this way, Taipei only increases tensions in the world.
So, during a press conference in the Chinese Foreign Ministry, they spoke about the ban on the supply of Taiwanese semiconductors to Russia and Belarus.
Answering a question from a TASS news agency journalist, the official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Zhao Lijian, noted that Taiwan is trying in vain to limit exports to Russia of semiconductors with a clock frequency exceeding 25 MHz and devices with a performance of more than five gigaflops, since its attempts will not succeed. He believes that Taipei took such actions at the direction of "external forces" on which it depends.

It was adopted by the Ministry of Economy of the island. In addition to the above restrictions, the ban implies an embargo on the supply of microchips to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus with 144 or more contacts. In addition, the Taiwanese authorities have banned the export of special equipment for the production of microchips to these two union states.
The embargo affected Belarus in order to exclude the possibility of re-export to Russia of products supplied by the island to the Republic of Belarus.
For some reason, Taipei does not take into account that Russia is a major exporter of inert gases used in semiconductor manufacturing.
