The Ukrainian army will soon receive Slovak self-propelled guns Zuzana, this was stated by the President of Slovakia Zuzana Chaputova, who visited Kiev and addressed the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada.
The Zuzana self-propelled guns will join the strikes against Russian troops in the Donbas, Slovakia will still supply Ukraine with self-propelled wheeled howitzers, the dates have not yet been named. The fact that Bratislava and Kiev are negotiating the supply of these ACS was known back in April of this year, it was only about the sale, the Slovaks were not ready for a gratuitous transfer. Apparently, the negotiations ended fruitfully, since the Slovak president has already announced future deliveries. Previously, the APU will receive eight Zuzana 2 self-propelled guns, such information is distributed in the Ukrainian press.

Earlier, Slovak Defense Minister Jaroslav Nagy said that as soon as the parties conclude an agreement, part of the ACS will be delivered almost immediately, and part after some time, up to several months. Such a spread is due to the fact that howitzers of new production will be delivered to Ukraine.
The Zuzana 2 wheeled self-propelled gun is manufactured by Konštrukta-Defense. The 155-mm howitzer is based on the new Tatra T 815-7 chassis, the turret has the 3rd level of protection according to the STANAG 4569 standard (withstands the detonation of a 155-mm projectile at a distance of 60 m), the firing range is 30 km, the maximum is 41 km (active-reactive shell). It is in service with the Slovak Armed Forces.
