The President of the United States of America announced a decision regarding missile systems that could be in Ukraine. According to Joseph Biden, he decided to refuse to supply Kiev with missile systems that he could use on objects deep in the territory of the Russian Federation.
Recall that we are talking, among other things, about HIMARS MLRS, the supplies of which were requested by the Ukrainian side. These multiple launch rocket systems, which are capable of firing not only "conventional" ammunition at a range of up to 40 km, but also MGM-140 ATACMS missiles with a range of about 300 km.
According to Biden, "the United States is not going to supply such weapons to Ukraine."
Deputy Head of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev commented on this decision. According to the ex-president of Russia, this is a reasonable decision of the US authorities.

For its part, it is worth noting that the HIMARS MLRS and the above-mentioned missiles were previously requested from the United States by Poland. Therefore, it is not necessary to unequivocally declare Biden's "reasonable decision" today. After all, the United States really may not send these missile launchers to Ukraine, but they will send them to Poland, which in turn may well "share" with the Ukrainian side.
