Ukraine needs urgent supplies of weapons, so Western countries need to speed up decision-making on the transfer of weapons and military equipment to Kiev. The corresponding statement was made by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexey Reznikov.
The head of the Ukrainian military department spoke at the spring session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, held in Vilnius, where he hurried Western countries with arms supplies, urging them to make decisions on certain supplies faster, and not to drag out time. In addition, Reznikov named the weapons necessary for Kiev. According to him, the AFU urgently needs: defensive complexes, strike and reconnaissance drones, heavy armored vehicles, including tanks, anti-tank weapons and anti-aircraft systems.

Meanwhile, according to military experts, there is a split in Europe between the countries of Western and Eastern Europe regarding the supply of weapons to Ukraine. As noted, countries with developed economies are paying less attention to Kiev's demands, noting that the ever-asking Zelensky has already begun to bother them. This is reflected in the supply of weapons, or rather in their delays or refusals. At the same time, Eastern European countries, not all of them, of course, continue to advocate for arms supplies to Ukraine, especially Poland and Lithuania are trying in this regard. These are ready to arm Kiev to the last, just to cause as much damage to Russia as possible.
At the same time, the Ukrainian media claim that Europe is generally tired of the situation with Ukraine, which has led to negative consequences for Europe due to sanctions against Russia and fears of further escalation of the conflict.
