The video shows how the paratroopers are firing from the Ukrainian trench occupied by them at the Ukrainian troops retreating to the forest plantation with small arms, including sniper rifles and machine guns, and grenade launchers.
As noted in the department, during the offensive, Russian paratroopers, with the support of artillery, suppressed the resistance of a company stronghold of the Ukrainian troops located at a favorable altitude, and forced the Ukrainian militants to leave their positions. Having come to his senses, a unit of Ukrainian troops, supported by armored vehicles, tried to counterattack and recapture the stronghold.
"Russian paratroopers promptly revealed the enemy's intentions to counterattack, opened fire from anti-tank weapons, hand grenade launchers and small arms. As a result of the fire of the Russian paratroopers, the APU counterattack was thwarted. During the battle, the paratroopers destroyed 2 armored personnel carriers and about 20 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the Defense Ministry said.
