In the West, they are beginning to discuss issues related to Russia's long-suffering regarding the incessant pumping of weapons into Ukraine. At the same time, Western experts suddenly began to recall that the Russian president, even at the initial stage of a special military operation, "threatened those who would try to interfere in the conflict from the outside." And Moscow's patience may be running out.
For example, the head of SIPRI (Stockholm Institute for Peace Research) discusses this issue Neil Melvin. According to him, Russia has every opportunity to strike at the supply lines of Ukraine, which (lines) go through Poland.
Melvin notes that in the event of further deliveries of heavy weapons to Ukraine (and the United States is considering the supply of HIMARS MLRS to Kiev, capable of firing missiles, including missiles at a range of up to 300 km), the likelihood that the conflict could turn into a global one increases dramatically.
Recall that the HIMARS mentioned above can strike with both "conventional" ammunition and MGM-140 ATACMS missiles related to shorter-range ballistic missiles. And although it is unlikely that the United States will deliver such missiles directly to Kiev, but earlier Poland had a request to the United States about such missiles. Accordingly, the United States can deliver them to Warsaw, and that, in turn, transfer them to the Kiev regime. And Washington will pretend that it did not supply missiles to Kiev...
In the case of the supply of such weapons to the Ukrainian regime, it will be able to attack objects deep in the territory of Russia. In Moscow, such deliveries are defined as unacceptable – and the response to them will be the toughest.
