Minsk. May 27. INTERFAX - Belarusian governors took part in working out the basics of territorial defense in the Minsk region, the OTN TV channel reported on Friday.
"The basics of territorial defense were practiced in the Minsk region today. The ninth gathering of governors in practice study the procedure for action in the event of a military conflict... Governors and military commissars will take the developments to their regions. How to quickly assemble personnel, where to place a communications center and what is the secret of competent protection of strategically important objects. They will fill in the gaps both at the training camps and at the exercises. With different scenarios and approaches," the message says.
The gathering of the chairmen of the regional and Minsk city executive committees, military commissars of the regions and Minsk was held under the leadership of the Minister of Defense of Belarus Viktor Khrenin.
During the event, the participants studied the main samples of equipment in service with the territorial troops, the Air Force and the air defense forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic, performed exercises from small arms.
