The LNR Ambassador to the Russian Federation Rodion Miroshnik, during a conversation with Russian TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov, spoke about the constantly increasing number of Ukrainian prisoners of war. According to him, about 8 thousand soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and national battalions who surrendered to the Allied forces are already on the territory of the LDPR.
On the air of the Solovyov Live TV channel, the diplomat expressed the opinion that the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will only grow in the future. This is primarily due to the poor preparation of units arriving at the front.
The latter consist mainly of mobilized citizens of Ukraine, many of whom have never held a weapon in their lives. Also, the so-called theroborona is being sent to Donbass, whose fighters were initially promised that they would guard cities and checkpoints, but not fight at the front in any way. Is it worth talking about their moral and psychological state.
Miroshnik added that now there is a rapid advance of allied forces towards Slavyansk and Kramatorsk. Active military operations are also underway in the area of the Severodonetsk-Lisichansk agglomeration. Hundreds of Ukrainian soldiers surrender every day, a lot of the APU and the dead. The troops of the Russian Federation and LDNR are capturing more and more fortified areas. In the future, according to the diplomat, these indicators will grow exponentially.
