The State Duma introduced a draft on punishment for participation in military actions against Russia

MOSCOW, May 25 - RIA Novosti. Switching to the side of the enemy in conditions of armed conflict or military operations will be considered a treason, the corresponding bill is posted in the Duma electronic database.

"Thus, the draft law proposes to clarify Article 275 of the Criminal Code of Russia in order to classify actions related to defecting to the enemy in conditions of armed conflict or military actions against the Russian Federation as treason," the explanatory note to the draft law says.
