The German press writes about the problems that arise for Ukraine in terms of the implementation by the German government of sending heavy equipment for the needs of the Armed Forces. We are talking about Berlin's promised deliveries of the Marder BMP to Kiev.
The Bild publication claims that the German government, led by Olaf Scholz, "blocks the supply of hundreds of such infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine."
From the material of the German edition:
German journalists write that "32 Marder BMP could be restored and transferred to Kiev within six weeks," but there has been no progress since March. But it was in March that the deliveries were discussed and, it seems, even approved.
The publication points out that initially Ukraine expected to receive the Marder BMP in early summer, but now the situation is becoming more complicated. Allegedly, the position of Scholz and his cabinet is contradictory, because no one in Germany can really say when the first German infantry fighting vehicles will be in Ukraine.
In the end, the Bild newspaper called the position of the Cabinet of Ministers a "hypocritical game."
