The UK will continue to supply weapons to Ukraine, London has decided to form a new package of military assistance for Kiev. This is stated in a statement by the office of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
The Kiev regime, led by Zelensky, continues to assert that the retreat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Donbas is the result of the lack of "heavy weapons" in the Ukrainian army and as soon as Kiev receives it in "sufficient quantity", it will immediately go on the offensive. Judging by the information coming from Kiev, the offensive is planned for the summer.
Based on this tactic, Zelensky continues to beg for weapons from the West, and he is no longer satisfied with simple ATGMs and MANPADS, Kiev needs missiles, artillery, MLRS and tanks. That's what the Ukrainian president and the British Prime Minister had a telephone conversation about today. Johnson promised the "Kiev sidelets" new arms supplies. According to the statement made following the conversation, Britain will send long-range artillery, anti-ship missiles with ground installations and drones to Ukraine. No details yet.
London allocates 1.3 billion pounds (1.62 billion dollars) for a new package of military assistance to Ukraine. In addition to the above, Britain plans to send electronic warfare equipment to Ukraine, including GPS signal jamming equipment, mobile radar stations for counter-battery warfare, as well as night vision devices.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian sources report that Zelensky's office actually removed Ukrainian officers from planning the AFU operations in the Donbas, handing over the reins to foreign military advisers, who somehow became very much in the General Staff of the AFU. Foreigners accuse the Ukrainian generals of poor planning, who, in turn, blame the advisers for the latest failures in the Donbas. Zelensky reportedly trusts his British-American friends more.
