"The letters Z and V are not official military symbols (designations) and do not carry a special load! This is reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation at my request. I hope this answer will help someone avoid unjustified prosecution when expressing their attitude to the letters of foreign alphabets. I do not object to the use of the response of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in any court cases," the deputy wrote in his Telegram channel .
As noted in the response of the Ministry of Defense, which is published by the deputy, "these signs are not official military symbols (designations) and do not carry a special load."
"At the same time, these signs are currently recognizable and positively accepted by servicemen and citizens of the Russian Federation, Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics and many others," the document signed by Deputy Chief of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Sergey Gusev says.
