The Polish Arms Group (PGZ) has signed an agreement with the British manufacturer MBDA UK to equip its vehicles with Brimstone guided missiles. In fact, this transaction is a continuation of the 2019 agreement between the companies for the design and development of the so-called "tank destroyer" Ottokar-Brzoza.
According to the terms of the new contract, British Brimstone missiles will be manufactured at The Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa plants in Poland.
According to the CEO of PGZ Sebastian Chwalek, the above-mentioned deal means that Poland and the UK are committed to strengthening cooperation in the field of defense.

In turn, MBDA UK Managing Director Chris Allam expressed the opinion that the integration of Brimstone missiles into the promising Ottokar-Brzoza tank destroyer provides another opportunity for both companies to continue developing, literally, "already strong relations." Finally, he promised that the British firm would continue to support the development of Poland's military and industrial potential.
The Brimstone precision guided missile is, according to the manufacturer, a combat–proven weapon capable of hitting a wide range of targets, including fast-moving vehicles and ships. A high-tech homing air- or ground-based missile works on the principle of "shot and forgot".
The official MBDA website says that the Brimstone complex, actively used in the Afghan and Libyan conflicts, has proven itself to be an extremely effective weapon capable of delivering "surgical" strikes on the enemy's critical infrastructure at any time of the day.
In addition, it is reported that a number of the above-mentioned missiles were transferred as military assistance to Ukraine and are now being used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
