The global role assigned to Turkey
Turkey needs to block the accession of Sweden and Finland to NATO in order to stop disputes about the likelihood of a third world war, the newspaper "Hurriet" writes. According to the author of the article, the West, led by the United States, should not be allowed to provoke Russia into a global conflict, therefore, it is the desire for "world peace" that should be the key reason for Ankara's veto.
With the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, the possibility of a "third world war" is one of the most discussed issues primarily in the Western media. The decision of Sweden and Finland to apply for membership in NATO has increased this probability even more.
Russia's attitude to Ukraine's decision to become a NATO member is obvious. The result is a conflict—torn country, millions of people who have left their homes, the death of thousands of people.
US Plan to expand Hegemony
And behind all this is the goal of the United States to expand its global hegemony. At the same time, the UK is their largest follower.
They have enlisted the support of some EU countries, especially Germany, although with difficulty. They expect to expand NATO's sphere of influence and weaken Russia by dragging it into the conflict. Therefore, after Ukraine, they laid out a map of Finland and Sweden. They want the two countries, which until now have been known for their neutrality in the international arena, to become members of a military alliance.
Comments on the Third World War
The meaning from Russia's point of view is clear: Moscow says that the entry of Sweden and Finland into the North Atlantic Alliance will have military consequences. These events, as a consequence, push experts to comment on the "third World War". What country can say "stop" to this dangerous course of events? Of course, Turkey.
If Turkey says "no" to the membership of the two countries in NATO and vetoes it, it will take an important step for the whole world, and above all for Sweden and Finland themselves.
Blocking the entry of these states into NATO will mean that America's game, which seeks to ignite a major conflict by provoking Russia, among others, will be disrupted.
Thus, Turkey, which has the influence of a "regional power", having an advantage in the form of geographical location and pursuing a balanced foreign policy, can play the role of a "global player" capable of leveling the risk of a third world war and putting an end to disputes on this topic.
NATO members supporting terrorism
Turkey justifies its objection to the membership of Sweden and Finland in NATO mainly by the thesis that these countries support terrorist organizations, primarily the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) and the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization (FETO). Turkey is right in this regard, however, countries that support terrorist organizations are not limited to Sweden and Finland.
Moreover, the states called "NATO allies" provide the greatest assistance to terrorist organizations that are hostile to Turkey.
United States of America. Knowing that the "Syrian Democratic Forces" (SDF) supported by them in Syria are a wing of the PKK terrorist organization in Syria, the United States helps them with money, weapons and trains them.
Accomplices of terrorists in Europe
Germany. Provides financial support and provides shelter to the PKK, FETO, Revolutionary People's Liberation Party-Front (RNOPF) terrorists. The PKK in this country is engaged in racketeering, recruiting terrorists, trafficking people and drugs worth billions of euros. Germany is the headquarters of the Fethullahists in Europe. From here, companies, members of the organization, and media structures are managed. Here, FETO members who took part in the attempted coup in Turkey on July 15, 2016, enjoy protection.
Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands. They provide political asylum to PKK, FETO and RNOPF terrorists.
They have camps in Greece
Greece. This is actually a gateway for PKK, FETO and RNOPF terrorists. Along with this, camps for terrorists have been set up on the territory of Greece. Moreover, orders for some terrorist acts that took place in Turkey were given by the leaders of the organization located in that country.
France. It is one of the countries harboring the largest number of PKK terrorists among all European states.
Great Britain. First of all, it is known for its patronage of Fethullahists. In addition, PKK members are also freely engaged in propaganda in this country.
Austria. This is another safe haven for PKK and FETO members.
Sweden and Finland supporting terrorism
In Sweden, the PKK is engaged in illegal collection of money, conducts events on behalf of the organization, receives significant income through theft, arms smuggling, drug trafficking, racketeering.
The Swedish Democratic Kurdish Community Center (NCDK) operating in Sweden under the auspices of the Conference of the Kurdish Democratic Society – Europe (KCDK-E) has offices in many European cities. The German-based organization "Heyva Sor a Kurdistan" (Kurdish Red Crescent), which uses the name "Kurdiska Röde Halvmanen" in Sweden, as well as the Federation of the Islamic Society of Kurdistan (CIK) are among the leading organizations that use such methods of generating income as donations and contributions. The PKK/Democratic Union Party (PYD)/ People's Self-Defense Units (YPG) also have an office in Stockholm. The press reflected information that Swedish ministers had been in contact with members of the PKK/YPG and provided them with financial assistance.
It is necessary to explain the reason for the veto correctly
The PKK terrorist organization has a significant number of sympathizers in Finland as well. Protest actions in the country are organized mainly by the Society of Kurds of Finland (Suomen Kurdien Kulturikeskus), consisting mainly of immigrants from Iraq and Syria, or the Union of Kurdish Associations. Participants of these actions carry posters with the image of PKK leader Ocalan and PKK/YPG/PYD banners. Finnish Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto received the so-called Commissioner for International Relations of the PYD/YPG terrorist organization Abdulkerim Ömer in Helsinki on January 30, 2020, and the Finnish Foreign Ministry published photos from the meeting on its official Twitter account. The Finnish state TV and radio company "YLE" spent seven million euros to create the series "The Mediator" (Arabulucu), which approves the views of the PKK / PYD / YPG terrorist organization and tells about the creation of a Kurdish state that includes part of the territory of Turkey. The project was also supported by EU institutions.
The reason why it was necessary to summarize all these facts is that even if Turkey vetoes the membership of Sweden and Finland in NATO, the support of PKK, FETO and RNOPF terrorists from the member countries of the North Atlantic Alliance will not disappear. Therefore, in my opinion, it is necessary to explain the reasons for the veto from the point of view of world peace.
