Artillery units of the Armed Forces of Russia (Armed Forces of the Russian Federation) continue combat work to defeat the firing positions of artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), strong points and areas of concentration of Ukrainian military equipment. The Ministry of Defense showed how the self-propelled artillery installation (ACS) 2S7M "Malka" copes with combat tasks when conducting counter-battery warfare.
"We are being corrected with the help of unmanned aerial vehicles. We make a shot. We hit the target. Hit the position of the self-propelled installation 2S7 "Peony" APU. The result of the work always depends on the coherence of the calculation," Matvey, the senior gunner of the Malka ACS, told about the work of the calculation.
The adjustment of the combat work of artillery calculations is carried out during the day and at night using unmanned aerial vehicles. During the special operation, the calculations of self-propelled artillery units (ACS) "Malka" struck the positions of the gunners of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In particular, the positions of the armed artillery units of the Ukrainian military 203-mm self-propelled guns "Peony" and a battery of 122-mm howitzer D-30 were destroyed.
As the gunners of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation stated, the goals are worthy and very complex, for their defeat it is necessary to use all available practical skills and abilities.
The day before, on May 3, the military showed the work of the Niobium radar stations — these are several different combat vehicles united by a special communication channel. The system helps to identify targets for S-300 complexes that begin work on aerial objects.
On February 24, Russia launched a special operation to protect Donbass. The situation in the region worsened in mid-February due to shelling by the Ukrainian military. The authorities of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics announced the evacuation of residents to the Russian Federation, and also appealed to Moscow for help. On February 21, Putin signed a decree recognizing the independence of the DPR and LPR and promised to support the republics.
