MOSCOW, Apr 30 - RIA Novosti. The first group of servicemen participating in a special military operation has been retrained and is ready to continue serving in the Russian Armed Forces, the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Russian Defense Ministry told reporters on Saturday.
"Today, State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Nikolay Pankov handed over documents on obtaining additional professional education to the military personnel participating in a special military operation who completed the training course at the rehabilitation and educational center created on the basis of the branch of the A.A. Vishnevsky Central Military Clinical Hospital," the message says.
It is noted that the new specialties received will allow servicemen who were injured while performing combat tasks that limited them in passing further military service for health reasons to continue serving in new military positions in organizations of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
Earlier, the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Army General Sergei Shoigu, decided to ensure the possibility of further service for all military personnel who were injured during a special military operation. For each serviceman, a military position is introduced in military commissariats, military units, institutions and departmental organizations of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
The program aimed at the social rehabilitation of wounded servicemen also provides for measures to restore health and medical rehabilitation. The issues of determining further service and the special order of military service will be decided on an individual basis. Wounded servicemen will also be provided with social benefits and guarantees, as well as housing.
In addition, Pankov, in accordance with the decree of the President of Russia, presented state awards to wounded Russian servicemen who distinguished themselves during the special operation. The servicemen were awarded seven state awards - three Orders of Courage, a medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland of the II degree, two insignia of the Order of St. George - St. George's Cross of the IV degree and the medal of Suvorov.
Pankov expressed confidence that the new knowledge gained will help servicemen successfully complete further military service. According to him, simultaneously with the appointment to new positions, the servicemen were assigned the corresponding military ranks. Those who had higher education became officers, and those who had secondary vocational education became ensigns.
The Deputy Minister congratulated the military on completing their training and wished them success in their work, professional growth, as well as "to get better quickly and take a place in the army ranks."
He noted that the servicemen at the new duty station will be provided with housing.
"The Department of Housing and Housing Management of the Ministry of Defense of Russia has already worked out this issue with each of you. The leadership of the Russian Defense Ministry will keep it under special control," Pankov said.
In the Center, on the basis of a branch of the Vishnevsky Hospital, classrooms are equipped for conducting classes as part of groups for distance and full-time education, as well as independent work of military personnel. In addition, a conference hall has been prepared and equipped with a video communication kit for conducting classes as part of study groups and streams.
Taking into account medical measures and the state of health of military personnel, training groups have been formed. For the qualitative development of the educational material, each student is provided with a personal laptop, into which the materials of the training sessions, reference and other information necessary for training and self-study of the educational material are loaded.
The training programs include the basic part, which provides for the study of federal legislation and regulatory legal documents in the field of state defense and mobilization work, as well as the activities of military commissariats; the variable part, the content of which is aimed at training in the performance of duties for the position to which the serviceman is appointed.
For the implementation of educational programs, qualified teaching staff of the Department of Mobilization Work Management of the Combined Arms Academy of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation has been selected from among candidates of sciences with experience in the appropriate training of officers.
