TSAMTO, April 27. In the period from April 26 to April 29, a thematic exposition dedicated to the International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2022" was launched at the Expocentre Central Exhibition Complex as part of the "Russian Week of High Technologies".
The exhibition is organized by the Main Department of Innovative Development of the Ministry of Defense of Russia together with the exhibition operator of the forum – International Congresses and Exhibitions LLC.
During the exhibition, an open registration of guests and participants for the upcoming forum will be held. The stand presents information materials about the features of the Army-2022 MVTF and the procedure for participation in it. Visitors will also be able to get acquainted with the history of the forum's development, its main results and indicators.
This year, the features of the "Army" forum will be:
- simultaneous holding of several other international events with the forum: the Army International Games and, for the first time, the tenth Moscow Conference on International Security, the opening of which will take place on August 14;
- exposition of promising samples of weapons, military and special equipment;
- expositions of industrial enterprises and development organizations in the areas of radio-electronic and information technologies, artificial intelligence technologies;
- exhibition "Innovative development in the field of defense";
- expanded exhibition cluster of export-oriented samples of weapons and equipment, formed by the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation and Rosoboronexport Joint Stock Company;
- thematic exhibition "Military education;
- expanded exposition of the Navy.
According to the expanded program, the annual competition for the management of unmanned aerial vehicles and robotic complexes "Dronbiathlon" will be held.
A special feature of the forum will also be the holding of online broadcasts of individual events on open topics of the scientific and business program on the Internet. This approach will ensure that a significant number of representatives of the world scientific and business community are involved in the issues under discussion, and will increase interest in the forum from Internet users and the blogosphere.
The most significant events of the scientific and business program will be the two congresses organized jointly with the Government of the Russian Federation: "Strategic Leadership and Artificial Intelligence Technologies" and "Diversification of the Russian Defense Industry".
The eighth International Military-Technical Forum "Army" will be held from August 15 to 21, 2022. The events of the next forum will be held on the basis of the Patriot Convention and Exhibition Center, the Alabino training ground and Kubinka airfield, as well as in all military districts and the Northern Fleet.
Since 2015, this large-scale event confirms its status as one of the world's largest exhibitions of weapons and military equipment.
