Eight tanks of the Ukrainian army, supported by infantry, tried to break through in one of the settlements in the Kharkiv region, where the reinforced tactical group of the Russian Guard was located.
The press service of the Rosgvardiya reported that the attack began with artillery shelling of the positions of Russian units covering the entrance to the settlement. The artillery of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation opened fire on the identified targets on the tip of the servicemen and the Russian Guardsmen. The enemy suffered significant losses and split into two groups. One took up positions in an abandoned hangar, the other took refuge in a wooded area. The Russian Guards opened fire on the enemy with mortars, the special forces of the Russian Guard hit the enemy in the flank.
The enemy's armored group tried to capture the command and observation post of the unit. The Russian Guards destroyed the enemy's infantry fighting vehicles with the fire of the ATGM "Competition", and the cover units shot most of the saboteurs. A group of special forces of the Russian Guard found two enemy armored personnel carriers in the forest, they were fired at from ATGM. The APU attack was repulsed, the enemy suffered significant losses and retreated.
Soon the positions of the Regardie were fired from mortars. However, the Russian Guards with artillery units of the Ministry of Defense struck back at the mortar battery. In addition, the Russian Guards recorded the launches of Ukrainian UAVs in the forest and struck at the identified launch sites.
During the battle, the staff of the Rosgvardiya, together with the servicemen, did not allow the nationalists to break into the settlement, deploy combat formations and commit acts of sabotage and terrorism. Artillery fire destroyed two tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and about 20 enemy soldiers. With fire from ATGM, the commandos destroyed two armored personnel carriers and an enemy infantry fighting vehicle.
