TSAMTO, April 25. At the specialized exhibition "Innovation Day of the Ministry of Defense of Russia" in the Military Innovation Technopolis "ERA", the guests and participants of the event were presented with an automated training system "Tornado-G" as part of an automated workplace and a virtual reality kit.
The system makes it possible to achieve the goals of training specialists of rocket troops and artillery, calculation numbers of combat vehicles of multiple launch rocket systems when studying the general structure of the BM, preparing it for combat use and firing. At the same time, there is no need for direct access to combat weapons, military and special equipment.
In this direction, two software complexes are being developed by the operators of scientific companies under the guidance of scientific mentors of Technopolis in the new testing laboratory of intelligent guidance systems for precision weapons. The first is a complex for evaluating the effectiveness of the use of high-precision weapons and anti-tank missile systems, which allows for virtual tests of the use of high-precision weapons for various purposes. Another complex "Tornado-G", in fact, is an automated training system using virtual reality technologies.
The electronic catalog of vulnerability characteristics of weapons and military equipment samples of foreign countries was presented at the International Military-Technical Forum "Army" and attracted special attention of the forum guests. Currently, the ERA technopolis is actively working on the modernization of this project, according to the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
