Not all Ukrainians seeking refuge in Russia from the war are peaceful refugees. There are also militants among them.
Dmitry Petrov, Deputy Head of the Main Directorate for Countering Extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, said at a meeting of the Presidium of the Public Council under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia that persons taking part in hostilities are trying to infiltrate us as part of the refugees.
"It's not a secret," Dmitry Petrov stressed. - But they are detected with a certain frequency. Procedural decisions are made to them in accordance with the current legislation."
At the same time, Petrov admitted that so far he cannot say the exact number of such people at the moment.
