A video has appeared on the web where you can watch the simultaneous testing of two versions of BrahMos missiles. The tests took place in the Bay of Bengal, Dambiev reports.
One version of the Russian-Indian supersonic missile was fired by a Su-30MKI fighter at a decommissioned Indian Navy ship, and the second was fired by a Project 15 D 61 Delhi destroyer from an upgraded modular launcher. The launch was made for the first time.
BrahMos is a Russian-Indian supersonic anti-ship missile. It is capable of speeds from Mach 2.5 to Mach 2.8. It can be launched from submarines, ships, coastal installations and aircraft.
