On April 20, the Russian Defense Ministry showed footage of objective control of the destruction of a reconnaissance control point of a motorized infantry unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
The strike was inflicted by high-precision artillery ammunition "Krasnopol" on an object located in an industrial building.
"With an accurate hit, the headquarters of the unit with controls was destroyed. The guidance of high—precision weapons and the control of the accuracy of the strike were carried out by the calculation of an unmanned aerial vehicle," the Russian Defense Ministry explained.
Earlier in the day, the agency showed footage of the military missile division of the coastal missile complex DBK "Bal" of the Caspian Flotilla tactical training at the training ground in Dagestan. The servicemen performed firing exercises from the AK-74 Kalashnikov assault rifle at fixed targets, and also demonstrated the skills of changing firing positions during combat.
On April 15, the Russian Defense Ministry published footage of a Russian Navy strike on a defense facility in Kiev. As a result of the strike, workshops for the production and repair of long- and medium-range anti-aircraft missile systems, as well as anti-ship missiles, were destroyed.
On February 24, Russia launched a special operation to protect Donbass. The Kremlin explained that the tasks of the special operation include the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, the implementation of which is necessary to ensure the security of Russia. The decision was made against the background of the aggravation of the situation in the LPR and DPR as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian military.
