Russian calculations of operational tactical missile systems "Iskander-M" destroyed the command post of the mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Alexander Morozov, a correspondent of Izvestia, told about the results of the operation on Sunday, April 18.
The journalist noted that the location of the command post was found out as a result of the interrogation of an employee of the armed forces of Ukraine. After checking the data, the calculations of the Russian Iskanders carried out missile launches at the specified coordinates. An accurate hit managed to destroy the enemy KP and more than 100 members of the mechanized brigade.
"The high operational characteristics of the complex (Iskander-M) made it possible to perform the task perfectly. To date, we have already completed more than 10 combat launches, gained a lot of experience that will allow us to perform tasks with high quality in the future," the commander of the launch battery said and added that there are no analogues of Russian missile systems at the moment.
The day before, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced the destruction of the storage of fuel and ammunition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by high-precision air-launched missiles in the area of the settlements of Barvenkovo and Dobropolye. The Russian missile forces and artillery defeated 113 objects.
At the same time, the Major General reported that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (Armed Forces of the Russian Federation) destroyed an ammunition factory near the settlement of Brovary, Kiev region, with a precision strike.
On April 16, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation told about the destruction by the Russian military of the production buildings of the armored plant in Kiev and the repair shop of military equipment in Nikolaev.
A day earlier, the Defense Ministry announced the intensification of missile strikes on targets in Kiev in the event of any attacks by the "Kiev nationalist regime."
On March 30, the Ministry of Defense showed footage of the work of the calculations of the Iskander operational and tactical missile system after reports that two large warehouses of the rocket and artillery APU in the village of Kamenka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) were destroyed with the use of the OTRK.
On February 24, Russia launched a special operation to protect Donbass. The Kremlin explained that the tasks of the special operation include the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, the implementation of which is necessary to ensure the security of Russia. The decision was made against the background of the aggravation of the situation in the LPR and DPR as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian military.
