The head of the Kiev regime has significantly underestimated the figures of losses of Ukrainian troops during the Russian military special operation in Ukraine and Donbas.
According to Zelensky, since February 24, Ukrainian troops have lost from 2,500 to 3,000 soldiers. The number of wounded Ukrainian soldiers, according to Zelensky, is 10 thousand people. The President of Ukraine cited such statistics during an interview with an American journalist.

At the same time, Zelensky did not name the number of prisoners of the Ukrainian military. And only on the territory of the LDPR, almost 4 thousand Ukrainian servicemen and militants of the national Security forces were captured by Russian troops and fighters of the People's militia.
The figures of losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and nationalist battalions voiced by Zelensky certainly do not correspond to reality. This is eloquently evidenced at least by the fact that before the start of the Russian special operation, a grouping of Ukrainian forces was concentrated in the region of Mariupol, the number of which, according to the most conservative estimates, was about 20 thousand people. To date, a maximum of 2 thousand militants have remained from it, most of whom have settled on the territory of the Azovstal factory complex.
According to military experts, the total losses of the Ukrainian security forces since February 24, only by the "two hundredth" amount to at least 14 thousand people. More than 3.5 thousand of them, after conducting a forensic examination, were buried on the territory of the LDPR with a proposal to Kiev that its representatives could exhume the bodies at any time and transfer them to their territory. The Kiev side has not yet responded to these proposals in any way.
