The Ministry of Defense announced plans to fabricate accusations against the Russian military
The Defense Ministry said that French gendarmes in Ukraine will cover up Kiev's war crimes and fabricate accusations against Russian servicemen. Earlier, a group of technical and scientific specialists of the gendarmerie arrived in Lviv, who, together with Ukrainian investigators, intend to "investigate war crimes." Russian Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN Dmitry Polyansky warned the Security Council that Ukraine is preparing "new provocations."
France has sent a group to Ukraine that will collect data on "crimes committed by Russian servicemen" together with representatives of the International Commission on Missing Persons, said the head of the Interdepartmental Coordination Headquarters of the Russian Federation for Humanitarian Response, Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev.
He noted that Kiev makes extensive use of the opportunities of non-profit organizations and foreign countries.
The representative of the Ministry of Defense clarified that the servicemen of the French special operations forces, together with technical experts of the French gendarmerie and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, arrived on Ukrainian territory through Germany and Poland along the "diplomatic corridor".
According to Mizintsev, the specialists who came from France "are clearly biased, and it is not necessary to count on an impartial investigation."
Investigation of war crimes
French Ambassador to Ukraine Etienne de Poncin earlier announced the arrival of a group of French gendarmes in Lviv.
According to him, law enforcement officers will begin their work on April 12.
The diplomat stressed that the French are "the first to provide such assistance." He pointed out that the gendarmes would work only with Ukrainian investigators.
Russia warned of provocations
Dmitry Polyansky, the first deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN, said that Russia had provided the world organization with information about new provocations being prepared by the Ukrainian authorities. According to him, the "provocation in Kramatorsk" failed.
"But Ukrainian propagandists are clearly trying to take into account their mistakes and work cleaner," he said, speaking at a meeting of the UN Security Council.
According to him, among such provocations is the staged discovery of mass graves in the village of Rakovka near Kiev, as well as a provocation with the shelling of ambulances allegedly by the Russian military, which transport patients in the city of Kremyannaya. Polyansky also said that chlorine tanks were mined in the village of Belogorovka, which they plan to blow up when the People's Militia units of the LPR approach.
He also stated that Ukrainian military personnel disguised in Russian uniforms for the purpose of provocation were seen in Odessa.
"I can't help but mention reports from residents of Odessa that AFU fighters disguised in Russian military uniforms were seen in large numbers in the city. It seems that a large-scale and bloody provocation is also being prepared in this city, more precisely, an operation under a false flag," Polyansky said.
According to him, provocations combined with the practice of using civilians as a "human shield" "strike with an inhumane attitude to the fate of the people of Ukraine" and show disregard for the norms of international humanitarian law and morality.
"Everyone still has an unprecedented provocation in the city of Bucha, both in its cruelty and in its "clumsiness". It is still being promoted as a crime allegedly committed by the Russian army, despite the irrefutable evidence of the staged nature of the incident, which is only multiplying," he said.
Earlier, Polyansky said that the issue of forming an international group in the UN format to investigate the events in Bucha is not being considered. In early April, photos and videos from this city appeared, showing bodies lying on the roads. The Russian Defense Ministry called these publications a provocation, saying that during the time the city was under the control of the Russian military, "not a single local resident was injured." The ministry said that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation completely left Bucha on March 30.
