Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called the main goal of the Russian military special operation in Ukraine. According to him, it should put an end to the dominance of the United States and its subordinate Western allies in the world.

This is due to the fact that Washington's plans to create a springboard on Ukrainian territory for the final suppression and subjugation of Russia have been destroyed. Lavrov believes that these plans were doomed to failure from the very beginning.
