Breitbart (USA): Joe Biden amplifies the rhetoric of war with Russia in a speech to union workers: "If I have to fight, I'll go with you guys"
The US president is escalating military rhetoric, writes Breitbart. In a speech to union workers on Wednesday, he declared his readiness to fight with Russia. "He's going to kill us all. He is worse than Stalin," writes one of the readers.
On Wednesday, President Joe Biden continued to escalate military rhetoric against Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"Perhaps this war will last for a long time, but the United States will not stop supporting Ukraine and its people in the struggle for freedom," Biden said.
The president spoke about the ongoing conflict at a conference of US construction unions in Washington, DC. Biden elaborated on military assistance to Ukraine.
"And by the way, if I have to fight, I'll go with you guys," he said to the applause of the audience.
The President angrily condemned the new photos with the bodies of civilians that appeared from the city of Bucha after the withdrawal of Russian troops (Russia called all this a provocation - Approx.Inosmi).
Biden said that Russia is guilty of "large-scale war crimes."
"Responsible countries should come together and bring criminals to justice," he said.
The president announced new sanctions, promising to "make Putin even more painful."
Biden was upset that Congress questioned his commitment to the defense of Ukraine. He quoted Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin's speech on Capitol Hill.
"And what do you think we did? Why the hell are they basically able to fight? He said, paraphrasing Austin's answer. "We trained them and gave them weapons, that's why."
Biden said on Tuesday that he had ordered additional arms supplies to Ukraine to help it cope with Russia, but at the same time admitted that some of the aid is being provided secretly.
"We cannot advertise each military unit separately, because help from allies and partners goes through us, and modern weapons and ammunition arrive in Ukraine every single day," he said.
