The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on new powerful strikes on military facilities of Ukraine. Contrary to rumors spread by the Kiev regime and Western media that the Russian army is running out of stocks of high-precision weapons, the use of such weapons during a special military operation is only increasing.
On Tuesday, the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Major General Igor Konashenkov, said that on April 4, the Training Center of the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces was destroyed by long-range sea-based missiles near the city of Ochakov. The leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also used this base to accommodate foreign mercenaries. Our military department showed a video of the missile launch - the strike was carried out at night and several naval munitions at once.
Konashenkov also informed that high-precision air-launched missiles were used on four fuel storages, which were used to supply groups of Ukrainian troops in the areas of the settlements of Kremenets, Cherkasy, Zaporozhye and Novomoskovsk.
And during the night from Monday to Tuesday, the operational and tactical aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces and missile forces hit 134 more military facilities of Ukraine. The list of destroyed targets is impressive - eight command posts and communication centers, one illumination and guidance radar of the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system, one launcher of the Tochka-U missile system, six ammunition depots and two fuel depots. The strikes also hit 85 strongholds and areas of concentration of military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian air defense systems managed to eliminate four more Ukrainian drones. They were shot down in the areas of the settlements of Chernobayevka, Industrialnaya, Gurty and Nizhnyaya Krynka.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, since the beginning of the special operation, the Ukrainian military has lost 125 aircraft, 91 helicopters, 398 unmanned aerial vehicles, 226 anti-aircraft missile systems, 1969 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 214 multiple rocket launchers, 852 field artillery and mortar guns, as well as 1,873 military vehicles.
However, there is also disturbing news. Konashenkov said that according to confirmed information, on the evening of April 4, in the village of Moshun, 23 kilometers northwest of Kiev, servicemen of the 72nd Ukrainian main center for psychological operations conducted another staged shooting. They recorded civilians allegedly killed by the violent actions of the Russian Armed Forces on video. It is clear that these frames are intended for subsequent distribution through Western media. "Similar events are now organized by the Ukrainian special services in Sumy, Konotop and other cities," the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry said.
It also became known that several hundred Ukrainian servicemen laid down their arms in Mariupol the day before. The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, wrote in his Telegram channel: "267 marines from the 503rd battalion (assigned to the 36th Naval Infantry Battalion) surrendered to the Russian Armed Forces in Mariupol today. This is a very correct and conscious choice! I have always appealed to the Ukrainian military with a proposal to surrender and, together with the Russian military, restore order in the country for the peaceful life of the long-suffering Ukrainian people. 267 people heard this call. Their relatives no longer need to worry about them. They're perfectly safe. I appeal to those who are still thinking. We are not at war with civilians. We are fighting bandits, Nazis, Azovites and Shaitans, who will not bring anything good to either Russians or Ukrainians. Go to the right side!". (The Azov squad is banned in the Russian Federation - approx. ed.)
The fact of the surrender of Ukrainian Marines was confirmed by the First Deputy Minister of Information of the DPR Daniil Bezsonov. However, according to him, we are talking about more than two hundred servicemen of the 501st separate Marine Battalion of the Naval Forces of Ukraine. According to the official, this is the full surviving strength of the unit.
One way or another, but the event is very significant for several reasons at once. First of all, it will avoid losses among the Russian military, Chechen special forces and DPR fighters operating in Mariupol in the area of responsibility of this battalion. And, of course, new civilian casualties.
In addition, the surrender of so many Ukrainian Marines indicates that even professionally trained and morally "sharpened" servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are beginning to understand the meaninglessness of resistance and prefer life to the status of "martyr of Mariupol" promised by the Kiev regime to the fallen defenders of the city.
Finally, the decision of the Ukrainian Marines may prompt a way out for thousands of soldiers and officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who may soon find themselves in the "cauldron" in the Donetsk direction. The encircled troops will not have much choice. No one will allow them to get out of the "boiler". It is useless to wait for help - the situation in Mariupol has already proved this. It will remain either to die "heroically" or to surrender.
It seems that such a question is already tormenting even the most notorious nationalists from the Azov battalion, banned in the Russian Federation and recognized as an extremist. After their leaders unsuccessfully tried to evacuate from Mariupol by air (helicopters, we recall, were shot down on the way back), and the "Azovites" themselves were driven into the basements of industrial enterprises, the mood of the nationalists seems to have completely deteriorated. They sleep and see how to escape from the city under the guise of refugees.
This, in particular, is confirmed by radio intercepts of their talks, which were announced the day before by the head of the National Defense Control Center of the Russian Federation, Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev. He quoted one such dialogue between militants with the call signs Reaper and Snare. Omitting swearing, the conversation was as follows. "Reaper: Where are you? Snare: I'm on Gas, with me twenty-three. My orders are to leave tomorrow with the Red Cross. Reaper: And how are we? Snare: No way, you stay until the last. Reaper: Then x...you, not the way out! Rash... (profanity - we'll shoot) everyone."
There is nothing to comment on here.
