In the United States, the number of missile launches that were carried out by Russian troops during a special operation in Ukraine is monitored daily. As noted, this indicator has long reached "incredible values" and continues to grow, breaking all records of US military campaigns - and this despite the fact that the American army is traditionally guided by the doctrine of a massive missile strike when conducting large-scale military operations.
US records are broken
This information is published daily incrementally on two resources – on the Twitter account of the CSIS research organization and CNBC reporter Amanda Macias, who refer to the Pentagon data. Their indicators of the use of missiles do not differ much: over 1300 and 1200 launches, respectively, as of March 28 and 24.
We are talking about strikes by cruise, ballistic and, more recently, hypersonic missiles: "Caliber" from naval carriers, X-101 and "Dagger" air-based, 9M723 and 9M728 with the Iskander-M, Onyx or Yakhont missile systems from the Bastion-P coastal self-propelled complex.
As indicated on the Altyn73 LiveJournal resource, Russia's use of missiles during the Ukrainian crisis has long broken all US records: during Operation Desert Storm in 1991 (Iraq), the American coalition used 297 sea- and air–based cruise missiles, "Desert Fox" in 1998 (Iraq) - over 400, "Allied The Power of 1999 (Yugoslavia) – more than 300, The Dawn of Odyssey 2011 (Libya) – more than 400.

The Pentagon is at a loss
The US Department of Defense clearly did not expect that Russian troops had such a large arsenal of cruise and ballistic missiles, mainly "Calibers". At first, the Pentagon stated that missiles of this type should end by March 20. Now it is already reported that the Russian Armed Forces have used up half of their reserves. But this is not accurate...
- one of the "experts" of the RUSI research center at the British Ministry of Defense pointed out before the start of the special operation in Ukraine, referring to a secret report on the release of only 180 "Calibers" in the Russian Federation in 2018.
Now the Pentagon has rushed to the other extreme, stating, as explained in the Reuters edition, that the Russian KR demonstrate extremely low efficiency:
On what basis such a conclusion is made, of course, it is not reported.
Following this, Western "experts" on the pages of Forbes rushed to criticize the missile arsenal of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation for "improper storage", which allegedly affects the combat use of weapons:
Is this information from Zelensky? Or Arestovich?..
It is noted that the Russian defense industry is extremely dependent on Western electronics, which, under the conditions of sanctions, allegedly will not allow finding the appropriate stuffing for the production of new missiles (although it is immediately stipulated that computer chips can be supplied by China). Allegedly for this reason, corrected artillery shells [Krasnopol] and hypersonic Kinzhal missiles were used, "which hit insignificant targets such as oil depots"; even the use of chemical weapons is expected against the background of the depletion of KR reserves.
Since when have oil depots supplying fuel to the APU suddenly have to be considered insignificant targets?
Despite all the "forecasts" of the Pentagon and Western "experts", Russian troops continue to use missiles to suppress the enemy's battle formations and infrastructure, bringing the day of his surrender closer.
