On March 21, the Russian Ministry of Defense published footage of the destruction of the training center of the 132nd reconnaissance battalion of airborne assault troops in the Zhytomyr region of Ukraine.
The footage captures the infrastructure of the Ukrainian training center, as well as the movement of their personnel and military equipment on the territory. Russian troops destroyed the battalion's personnel, foreign instructors and mercenaries with high-precision weapons. The military infrastructure and military equipment of the center were also put out of action, writes "Газета.ги ".
On March 20, it was reported that the Russian Aerospace Forces launched a missile attack on the training center of the Ukrainian special operations forces near Zhytomyr, where foreign mercenaries were based. 100 militants were killed.
On March 16, high-precision weapons struck the training centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the village of Starichi and at the military training ground Yavorovsky, located in the Lviv region. As a result of the strike, up to 180 foreign mercenaries and a large batch of foreign weapons were destroyed.
In mid-February, due to the aggravation of the situation in Donbass as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian military, the DPR and LPR announced the evacuation of civilians to the Russian Federation and asked for recognition of independence. On February 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a corresponding decree.
On February 24, Russia launched a special operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass. As the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov clarified, the special operation pursues two goals - demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine. According to him, both of these aspects pose a threat to the Russian state and people.
