MOSCOW, March 19. /tass/. Nationalists mined storages with ammonia and chlorine in Sumy to poison the residents of the region at the entrance to the city of the Russian army units, the same provocation is being prepared in the village of Kotlyarovo, Mykolaiv region, where containers with toxic chemicals have already been delivered to the school. This was announced by the head of the National Defense Control Center of the Russian Federation, Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev.

"In Sumy, at the Sumykhimprom chemical plant, nationalists mined storage facilities with ammonia and chlorine with the aim of mass poisoning of residents of the Sumy region in the event that units of the Russian Armed Forces enter the city. In the village of Kotlyarovo, Mykolaiv region, militants of nationalist formations are preparing provocations with the use of toxic chemicals. To do this, containers with toxic chemicals have already been delivered to the building of the local elementary school, which are planned to be undermined when units of Russian troops approach," Mizintsev said.

"We warn the entire civilized world and international organizations in advance about the prepared cynical provocations of the Ukrainian authorities, in which, if they are implemented, Russian servicemen will be accused again, as has happened many times before," the head of the center stressed.

All this is being done with the direct support of the leadership of the United States and a number of European Union countries that view Ukraine as an instrument of anti-Russian policy.

He also told about a number of violations, which was recorded by the Interdepartmental Coordination Headquarters of the Russian Federation for Humanitarian Response in Ukraine. According to him, the radicals of the territorial defense battalions at the checkpoints of the Chernihiv - Kiev highway, under the pretext of raising funds for the AFU, forcibly withdraw money from civilians at the established rate: 500 hryvnia for a car, 300 for an adult and 100 for a child. "At the same time, for everyone trying to travel towards Russia, these tariffs are five times higher, and the most cynical thing is that if there are no funds to pay the bribe, then cars are seized and people are sent back on foot," the Colonel-general said.
