Moscow. March 19. INTERFAX - A surrendered employee of the main directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) reported on terrorist attacks planned in Lviv against employees and facilities of diplomatic missions of the United States and other Western countries, said the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Igor Konashenkov at a briefing on Saturday.
"An SBU officer reported on terrorist acts planned by militants of the nationalist Azov battalion in Lviv against employees and facilities of diplomatic missions of the United States and other Western countries," Konashenkov said.
At the same time, he stressed that "the leadership of the Kiev regime is aware of the plans of the nationalists, but does not take any action to prevent their implementation."
Konashenkov clarified that this information was received from an employee of the main directorate of the SBU for Donetsk and Luhansk regions, who voluntarily surrendered to Russian servicemen during a special military operation.
"This officer was directly involved in organizing the training of sabotage and terrorist groups to work in areas liberated from nationalists. The SBU officer provided detailed information regarding all persons involved in conducting sabotage activities on the territory of Donbass," Konashenkov said.
