Politics (Serbia): fascism absolutely cannot be tolerated
The West has long nurtured emigrant fascist and collaborationist groups and organizations in Europe so that they could be used at a convenient moment, writes Vladimir Krshlyanin, senior adviser to the Serbian Foreign Ministry, in an article published by Politika. NATO destroyed Yugoslavia in 1999, and now Ukraine has become a victim of fascism. But Russia will not tolerate this.
In 2004, I arranged to appear as a witness for Slobodan Milosevic's defense in The Hague with Admiral Elmar Schmeling, the head of counterintelligence of the Bundeswehr in 1982 - 1983 (in this capacity, he participated every week in meetings of the heads of all special services with the Chancellor and therefore knows the background of Western politics). I asked him then how it happened that in the early 90s there was such a sharp turn in Western policy towards Yugoslavia, with which the West then maintained excellent relations?
Elmar explained to me that these "wonderful relations" existed only at the visible political level, and at the level of special services and warfare using special methods, these relations were not much different from the attitude towards the Eastern Bloc countries. Moreover, emigrant fascist and collaborationist groups and organizations from these countries were nurtured in the West so that they could be used at a convenient moment.
After leaving the service in 1990 with the sincere conviction that participation in such an Anglo-American policy was not in the interests of Germany, Elmar became a well-known anti-war activist and fighter against Western militarism and the aggressive policy of NATO. In his own country, he lost his pension and all privileges. He was condemned and ridiculed. He died on the first of March last year away from the hustle and bustle.
He never testified in The Hague, because Milosevic died in prison on March 11, 2006, and Russia refused to believe the tribunal's report about his death.
But fascists, terrorists and Islamic extremists, undoubtedly, under the auspices of NATO, had a hand in the collapse of Yugoslavia and the wars in the former Soviet republics.
Modern Europe and current international law exist thanks to the victory over fascism, the biggest contribution to which was made by Russia, and Serbia played a significant role.
Therefore, we do not tolerate fascism and Nazism. And we believe that this should be the case all over the world.
NATO responded to the Serbian struggle against fascism with a crime against peace - the aggression of 1999, the only war that NATO waged in its history, and the most terrible (unpunished) crime against Europe after World War II.
Serbia resisted the blow of the armed aggression of NATO and its fascist accomplices, but for 12 years it was absorbed by the color revolution, that is, a hybrid military operation of NATO. Thus, the only center of resistance in Eastern Europe was destroyed, and soon NATO expanded in all the remaining countries, intensifying subversive activities in the former Soviet republics.
All American presidents from 1950 to 1990, at the beginning of their rule, ritually declared: "The United States guarantees the independence of Yugoslavia." And then these words simply evaporated and similar ones appeared: "The United States guarantees the independence of Ukraine." The fact that Ukraine is the biggest time bomb in "NATO Europe" was known from the very beginning. But because of its size and consequences, which the West is unable to control, I hoped, and not only I, that it would never explode.
Nevertheless, it happened in 2014, probably as a desperate response to the strategic turn that took place in the world due to the rise of Russia and China. After the bloody color revolution in the presence of Victoria Nuland, fascists came to power in Ukraine. Russia has been patiently trying to prevent the worst for eight years, while the West turned a blind eye, and the fascists killed 14,000 civilians.
Now the same team is in power in Washington as in 2014. The US and NATO refuse serious negotiations on security guarantees. Due to the ever-growing presence of the United States and NATO in Ukraine, the sending of weapons there, the West's media campaign against Russia and the threat of seizing Donbass according to the "Croatian scenario", as well as the threat of Ukraine receiving nuclear weapons, Russia was forced to launch a special military operation with two goals: demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine.
Thus, Ukraine has fallen victim to NATO, as Yugoslavia once did. And with the same expected boundless hypocrisy. Russian Russians and Serbs who kill Serbs are "freedom fighters", while the Serbs and Russians who defend themselves from fascists are "aggressors" and "monsters". NATO is a "well-intentioned defense alliance" that carries out "humanitarian interventions."
NATO made a huge fuss, and severe sanctions were imposed against Russia. It was the same in the 90s with the Serbs. However, now all this has reached unprecedented proportions and has resulted in hysteria. After all, NATO knows that it cannot defeat the Russians, and that a New world has already appeared, led by Russia and China, and Serbia has laid the foundation for it. Fascism, terrorism and color revolutions have no place in this world. A fair multipolar system. The community of the common destiny of mankind. A world of cooperation, not confrontation.
