The corridors suggest options for the evacuation of the population from Kiev, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Mariupol to the territory of Russia

INTERFAX - Russia has offered Ukraine to establish continuous communication for the exchange of information on the evacuation of civilians, said the head of the interdepartmental coordination headquarters for humanitarian response, head of the National Defense Management Center of the Russian Federation, Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev.
From 10:00 Moscow time on Tuesday, March 8, Russia announces a "regime of silence" and is ready to provide humanitarian corridors from Kiev and a number of other cities of Ukraine. At the same time, Moscow declared its readiness to provide humanitarian corridors from Kiev and adjacent settlements to the Russian Federation through the territory of the Republic of Belarus (to Gomel) with subsequent delivery by air to Russia. Evacuation in the southern direction is also possible in agreement with the Ukrainian side, Mizintsev said.
"In order to implement practical measures for the evacuation of civilians and foreign citizens along agreed routes during the humanitarian operation from 09:30 (Moscow time) on March 8, 2022, to establish continuous communication between the Russian and Ukrainian sides for the mutual exchange of information on the preparation and evacuation of civilians and foreign citizens," Mizintsev said.
According to him, the Russian initiative on humanitarian corridors is being brought to the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Irina Vereshchuk with a proposal to coordinate it by 03:00 Moscow time on March 8.
Until that time, Moscow will wait for Kiev to coordinate the routes and the start time of the functioning of humanitarian corridors. In addition, the Ukrainian authorities are expected to agree in writing on approaches, including guarantees to ensure security, Mizintsev said.
He suggested that the Ukrainian authorities notify representatives of embassies of foreign states, UN structures, OSCE, ICRC and other international organizations located on the territory of Ukraine about the planned humanitarian operation by 03:00 Moscow time on March 8.
According to Mizintsev, humanitarian corridors will also be provided: from Chernihiv through the territory of the Republic of Belarus to Gomel with subsequent delivery by air to the Russian Federation, in the southern direction - in agreement with the Ukrainian side.
Another corridor is supposed to be organized from the city of Sumy along two routes to Poltava and to the territory of the Russian Federation to Belgorod - then by air, rail and road transport to selected destinations or temporary accommodation points, in the southern direction - in agreement with the Ukrainian side.
According to Mizintsev, another humanitarian corridor - from Kharkiv to the territory of the Russian Federation to Belgorod - then by air, rail and road transport to selected destinations or temporary accommodation in Lviv, Uzhgorod, Ivano-Frankivsk - in agreement with the Ukrainian side.
Another corridor is from Mariupol on two routes to the territory of the Russian Federation to Rostov-on-Don via Novoazovsk and Taganrog, to Zaporozhye - in agreement with the Ukrainian side, Mizintsev said.
