Thus, 762 cases of non-payment of wages, 30 cases of criminal fraud in the field of shared-equity construction, 82 cases of crimes committed while providing orphans with housing were sent to court.
Bastrykin called the compensation figures "significant". 62 billion rubles were reimbursed to the state, citizens and organizations during the investigation, which is 18 percent more than in 2020.

Separately, Alexander Bastrykin focused on the work of the investigation in connection with the events in Ukraine, recalling that for several years the Kiev authorities and nationalist groups have been committing particularly serious crimes against the population of Donbass. Since 2014, the Investigative Committee has initiated 512 criminal cases, including against representatives of the military and political leadership of Ukraine, members of radical nationalist associations, as well as employees of law enforcement agencies. 180 people are brought to criminal responsibility. The Head of the Department instructed to prepare the necessary departmental agreements with the competent authorities of the DPR and LPR. He also noted that in the regions it is important to participate in full-scale support of arriving refugees, solving issues of social and household support, providing qualified legal support.
