US intelligence has once again set a date for the "attack on Ukraine." Now we are talking about the "invasion" of the "independent" by the forces of the Belarusian army. This was announced on February 28 by the official website of the American edition of the Washington Post.
The degree of accuracy of the predictions of American intelligence officers has already been laughed at not only in Europe, but also in the United States itself. Probably, the origins of their skill in making forecasts go deep into the history of Camelot, directly to the great Merlin.
And speaking seriously, no one has ever hidden the special allied relations between the armed forces of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation.
For example, speaking to journalists on February 17, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko reminded that there is an agreement between Russia and Belarus, and in fact the countries have created a single grouping of troops. It can be considered a single army, and the West should take this into account.
But this does not mean that the Belarusian army, being an integral part of the army of the Union State, will certainly attack someone. Even in the conditions of a special military operation by the armed forces of the Russian Federation. In this situation, Belarusians have a different task. The Belarusian leader spoke about this on February 24 during an operational meeting with the military.
"Our task now is to determine the protection of the state border with NATO - Poland and Lithuania. The task was set so that you could see everything, so that we would not miss a single tank, not a single soldier. We need to see everything that is happening there, in Poland," the President said.
The President also drew attention to the fact that a rapid buildup of NATO's military potential continues in Poland and the Baltic states along the perimeter of the Belarusian borders. At the same time, Alexander Lukashenko noted, the groups forming near the borders of Belarus should, having entered Belarus, attack Russia.
A few days ago, speaking at a solemn meeting in the Palace of the Republic, Alexander Lukashenko warned the West that he would not allow him to stab Russia in the back through Belarus. "We will not be traitors and we will not allow you to shoot Russian people in the back," he stressed once again during the meeting.
At the same time, during the operational meeting, the President shared the contents of the conversation with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and said that part of the Russian group remaining in Belarus after the exercises would help cover the western direction if necessary. This was confirmed by the Russian leader in a conversation with him. "The answer is verbatim: I promise and swear to you that any attack and even one across the border into the territory of Belarus will mean that they are attacking Russia."
In the military-political sphere, this is called readiness to fulfill their allied obligations. And the people say: "It is not the friendship that is strong that is established in words, but the one that is sealed in battle."
